May 4 & 5 - Knife Grinding 200's: Foundational Skills

600.00

May 4 & 5 - 10:30 AM - 8:00 PM (with 1 ½  hour break for lunch)

Are you ready to move to the second step in the stock removal (grinding) process of making knives?  Over the the next two days you will build upon the skills previously learned in the Knife Grinding 100’s. We will tackle a slightly more complicated knife that has a double distal taper (tapered full-tang handle and blade), brass bolsters, thong tube, and sculpted handle.

It is strongly suggested you have taken Knifegrinding 100’s before you take this class.

Please arrive for your class at least thirty minutes before the scheduled start time. Wear non-flammable (high cotton content) long sleeved shirt and long pants and closed-toe, leather shoes. If you have a respirator, please bring it with you. Also bring plenty of water, and be sure to eat a hearty meal before class.
