May 24 - Sheath: Introduction to Leatherworking

What are you supposed to do with all these knives you’re making? Every knife needs and sheath, so you’ll be making a basic leather sheath for them! You’ll learn leather working skills such as pattern cutting, stitch marking, and sewing.

Please bring only one knife to the class. You may choose from any of these knives:

  • Intro to Knife Grinding: Tanto, Drop Point, Throwing Knife

  • Knife Grinding 100s: Clip point, Trailing Point

  • Knife Grinding 200s: Drop Point

PREREQUISITES: No experience is required, but you must bring one of the knives listed above to the class

This class will involve a lot of benchwork, so please dress comfortably, but workshop appropriate. No open toed shoes.
