Campfire Tripod: Blacksmithing Intensive

July 13th 10:30AM - 8PM with a 1.5 hour lunch break

In this full day Intensive we will be making a classic campfire tripod with a ring hook to hang your cookware over your fire.

We will go over basic blacksmithing processes including: tapering, scrolling, bending, and forming over the horn.

This class is appropriate for all skill levels, but we wouldn’t hate it if you’ve taken at least one Introduction to Blacksmithing class first.

Please arrive for your class at least thirty minutes before the scheduled start time. Wear non flammable (high cotton content) long sleeved shirt and long pants and closed toe shoes.

Bring plenty of water, snacks and be sure to eat a hearty meal before class. We will have a 1 ½ hour lunch break. Lunch is not provided. Please bring a lunch from home or plan to eat at one of the many local restaurants near the shop.
