Little Viking Knife

February 24th Little Viking Knife

February 24th, 4pm-8pm

If you are looking to progress your knife forging skills further after our Railroad Spike Knife class, this is a perfect next step. We will go through set-downs, making a pre-former, controlled spreading, drawing down, scrolling, and forming on the horn as well as go deeper into heat treating. If you have taken one of our leaf or spoon classes, you may notice that they are quite similar in process.

We highly recommend having some forging experience before taking this class. One of our Introduction to Blacksmithing classes and Railroad Spike Knife would be a perfect place to start.

Please arrive for your class at least fifteen minutes before the scheduled start time. Wear non flammable (high cotton content) long sleeved shirt and long pants and closed toe shoes. Bring plenty of water and be sure to eat a hearty meal before class.
